Semi detached former fisherman’s cottage on the waterfront on a private road running along the estuary  grid ref. 838 549.  South west facing with most windows overlooking the estuary and wonderful sunsets.  Sleeps 4.  One can sit at the top of the terraced back garden and enjoy magnificent views across the estuary to the hills beyond and out to sea.  There are  2 pubs;  The Anchor Hotel  and The Mariners within half a mile.

Whilst Kippford  is easily accessible, it is an unspoilt area with wonderful coastal and forest walks, birdwatching and golf courses in the vicinity.  The Galloway Hills are within easy driving distance as also are Mersehead, Castle Douglas with Threave Gardens (N.T.) and Dumfries.

Well furnished and equipped (washing machine, microwave, TV, DVD, video and Hi-Fi).  The cottage has oil central heating, which together with the electricity is included in the price. It has double glazing throughout,  parking for two cars, garden furniture, and a drying line.   We hope it is a place you will want to return to.
