Living / Dining Room - Comfortably furnished with
radiator, multi fuel stove, TV, DVD, video,
CD player.
Kitchen - Fully fitted chestnut kitchen with new (August 2005)
ceramic hob / double oven; microwave; refrigerator; electric kettle, toaster
Main Bedroom - Double bed, pine
wardrobe and dressing table, hand basin, shaver point, airing cupboard and
radiator..
Shower Room - Downstairs with large tiled shower, basin, WC and radiator.
Garden - There is a small garden largely laid to lawn,
inside and outside drying facilities. Garden table and chairs are provided.
General
Central heating, hot water, electricity, linen and tea towels are included in
the price. Towels are available for hire at £3 per person. Duvets are provided
unless sheets and blankets are requested.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at a charge of
£20 per week. We do ask that they are not
let on the furniture or upstairs, do not foul the garden and are not left unattended. The pet’s owner must accept
responsibility for any damage incurred.
A deposit of £80 per week is required, the balance
to be paid four weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday, on receipt of which
a set of keys and directions for Dyke Nook Cottage will be sent.

Arrival is from 2.00 pm onwards on Saturday with departure by 10.45 am.
Wainwrights Skiddaw Horseshoe starts 100 yds down the road. There is fishing by licence on Bassenthwaite Lake, horse riding
2 miles away and 2 golf courses within 6 miles. The Ravenstone Hotel (a
small hotel 75 yds along the road) has a small bar and restaurant, also several
pubs in the area do bar meals. Keswick has a theatre, The Theatre by
the Lake which is one of 50 repertory theatres in the country - see
